The Story Behind AudienceIntent…

Honestly, I never planned to build a marketing company.
In fact, I spent years running from the idea.

After nearly two decades in finance, advertising, and media — working with brands like JP Morgan Chase, Red Bull, Newsmax and Rainmaker Adventures — I saw the same cycle play out over and over again.

Big promises. Big claims. And, too often, big profits that were backed by small results.
At the end of it all came the same story — frustrated businesses left wondering where their money actually went.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was deeply wrong.

These were genuine, hardworking businesses trying to grow, yet the system was stacked against them — a rigged game of profit before performance.

Agencies hid behind metrics that meant little.
Platforms made billions.
Clients were always expected to carry all the risk.

So I did something that didn’t make sense on paper.
I walked away from the “safe path” and decided to build something better —
something that put results before retainers and people before profit.

That’s how AudienceIntent began.

No investors.
No safety net.
No backup plan.
Just a belief that business could — and should — be done differently.

The “Why Now” Moment

One day it finally clicked.
I was staring at another campaign report — all the metrics were green: impressions, clicks, opens, engagement.

But the business hadn’t actually benefited. Not in real, measurable results.
That’s when I realized the industry had started celebrating the wrong scoreboard.
I couldn’t keep watching good businesses burn through budgets chasing empty numbers.

So I made a promise — to myself and to every future partner:

If we don’t deliver real results, we don’t get paid.
No fine print.
No excuses.
Just accountability.

Lessons From the Journey

You can tell everything you need to know about someone by how they sell.
And I’ve seen too many people sell with pressure instead of purpose.

Not long ago, I joined a demo for a platform my team actually wanted. Within ten minutes, the rep was pushing a $50k annual contract — and never once asked about our needs.

We left that call thinking, This is exactly what we’ll never become.

At AudienceIntent, we do things differently.
No push.
No pitch.
Just partnership.

Because trust — not tactics — builds lasting results.

The Vision

I’ve always believed business can be a force for good.

For years, I’ve supported Charity:Water, helping bring clean, safe drinking water to people who need it most.
That mission changed how I think about success.

It reminded me that profit without purpose is empty.

At AudienceIntent, we’re not chasing big margins or executive bonuses. We’re here to help businesses win — and when we do, we share those rewards to make life better for others, directly and indirectly.

That’s what impact means to me.

The Early Days

Starting AudienceIntent was messy — and real.

No income.
No guarantees.

Just three kids depending on me, and a conviction that we could build something honest.

We rebuilt everything — over and over again.
Our website. Our offers. Our message.
Ninety-eight versions later, we finally landed on something we could stand behind completely.

It wasn’t easy.
But it was right.
And that’s how I knew we were building something worth fighting for.

Defining Success

Success, to me, isn’t about scaling to a thousand clients
or hitting arbitrary revenue milestones.

It’s about helping one business at a time find money they didn’t know they had — and seeing the relief, the gratitude, the hope that follows.

In a world becoming colder, more robotic, and less human by the second, we’re doubling down on connection.
We celebrate our partners’ wins with them — face-to-face.
That moment — when someone realizes they can succeed again without fear or risk — that’s what keeps me going.

That’s what AudienceIntent stands for.

The Future

We’re building something bigger than a company.

A movement for accountability in marketing — where outcomes replace promises, and businesses take back control from platforms and agencies draining their budgets.

Every partnership we form, every campaign we run, every dollar of found money we uncover — it all moves us closer to that vision.

And one day, I believe, it will become the new standard: a world where businesses pay for results, not rhetoric.

That’s the future we’re building at AudienceIntent.
